We are an HOA management company looking for an experienced community manager to join our growing company. This is a full-time position as a portfolio community manager for Homeowners Associations. This position would manage a portfolio of communities located around the Valley.

Job Duties:

• Handle the day to day affairs of the Association by acting as its Executive Director.
• Attend monthly/bi-monthly/quarterly Board of Directors Meetings. Meetings are typically in the evenings.
• Liaison with homeowners and the Board of Directors.
• Provide a board packet to the directors of the Board at least one week prior to the Board meeting.
• Perform visual checks of the community as required.
• Work with vendors on special projects.
• Hire vendors per the board’s instructions. Solicit a minimum of three competitive bids when required.
• Manage community vendors to ensure their performance is meeting or exceeding contractual obligations. Supervise and be the liaison for the HOA with all contractors.
• Review work of vendors after any special project prior to paying vendor.
• Manage the records of the Association.
• Acquire proposals for all contracted services. Provide comparisons and recommendations to the Board.
• Respond to calls, voicemails and emails in a timely (within 24 hours) and professional manner.
• Prepare and draft annual operating budget for Board review and approval.
• Conduct oneself at all times in a professional and respectful manner.
• Serve as the on call/after hours emergency contact on a rotational basis.
• Other duties as requested by supervisor and/or Board of Directors.

Qualifications:

Experience as a portfolio community manager for Homeowners Associations is required.

Experience with the following: daily management of multiple properties, RFP creation/ bidding processes, vendor relations, working directly with Board of Directors.

Reliable transportation.

Ability to work evenings as needed for Board meetings.

Compensation:

Depending on experience, within industry standard.
